Fall 2022

I worked simultaneously as the Communication Graduate Department intern and the Theatre Department communication intern. I assisted throughout many shows by taking pictures, creating social media content, administering posters, and much more. This page shows a small glimpse of the work I produced.

All media for each show had to match the poster so I altered the poster file to fit Instagram's post dimensions and created a few different posts for this show.

I created a cast and crew list for each show. These were always favored posts because cast and crew members typically reposted and their friends commented.

This is the cast and crew list I created for the first show of the season, "The Light Princess." The background is the same design as the poster that was created for the show.

The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and Birmingham Jewish Federation requested the department to recreate "Anne and Emmett" which was performed the year prior. This flyer was created based on the original poster to advertise the reprised show in Starkville before they went on the road.

News Release

For the first show of the season, I wrote and sent a news release to a reporter in the local news station that also worked in the Communication Department.
